Continue your journey into The Highlands and ascending up to your Ngorongoro lodge situated on the crater rim, featuring stunning views overlooking the majestic Caldera,the park gate opens at 0600, so it is best to be there as close to this time as possible.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a large, unbroken, un-floodedcaldera, formed when a giant volcano erupted and collapsedsome three million years ago.Down on the crater floor there is anabundance of wildlife including black rhino, wildebeest, zebraand eland. There are a number of lions which are typically largerin size than an average lion due to the large amount of game inthe area. The crater floor tends to get very busy, with several tourist vehicles wildlife sighting.Enjoy a packed lunch under the trees on the crater floor, butkeep an eye out for the monkey’s which are always keen totake advantage of an opportunistic moment. After breakfast, depart the camp and make your way toEither Kusini, Grumeti or Kogatende. Airstrip.Farewell your guide as you board your Coastal Aviationflight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Airport you will be met by Encircle East Africa representative and transferred by road to your Lodge/Hotel
