Our Maasai guide will lead us as we set out in 4x4 to explore Tanzania's heart-stopping beautiful bird and animal habitats amid the unspoiled landscapes of a private Eastern Serengeti nature reserve. There we will see giraffes, lions, ostriches, zebras, and warthogs in abundance, hold our breath as predators stalk their prey, and perhaps be lucky enough to witness the great wildebeest migration.
We'll make a private visit to Sianga’s( EEAT CEO’s) Maasai village, where we'll witness firsthand theMaasai traditions and challenges of the culture and his people home life.
We'll stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, before descending into Ngorongoro Caldera to see massive bull elephants, black rhinos, lions, leopards, and ostriches amid the thirty thousand animals that live there.

With Arusha as your starting point, head to Tarangire National Park, where diverse wildlife viewing awaits. Tarangire astonishes many with its massive herds of elephants, distinctive winding riverine landscapes, and swampy floodplains. On your journey, you will cross the Maasai Steppe into the wide-open acacia covered plains. As you drive, note the settlements and districts you pass, which are predominantly inhabited by Massai. This afternoon, explore the banks of the Tarangire River, where large families of elephant often gather. Venture through the baobab-studded plains and the miombo woodlands, where you’ll surely find baboon and vervet monkey. Finish the day by gazing at the millions of stars overhead and the pristine surroundings of your Sangaiwe Tented Lodge as you sit by the fire and enjoy the evening.

Enjoy one last morning of wildlife viewing in Tarangire before you drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands via the impressive Great Rift Valley escarpment. En route, you will enjoy expansive vistas of Lake Manyara. At the top of the escarpment lie the lush NgorongoroHighlands. Gibb’s FarmEnd the day with a leisurely stroll on your own through the gardens at Gibb's Farm to stretch your legs. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere, the abundance of beautiful plantings and the views out into the surrounding highlands.
Spend the day exploring the abundance of wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater. Over a full day of wildlife viewing, you might even see rhinoceros. To maximize your wildlife viewing time on the crater floor, enjoy your picnic lunch near a hippo pool. At night, relax at the Tembo Fire, an open-air sitting area nestled at the foot of the organic gardens at Gibb’s Farm. The tradition of the nightly campfire began as a practical measure to ensure that elephants - or "tembo" in Swahili - are not tempted to feast in the gardens at night. It soon became a popular place to sit and relax at the end of the day. Now, with a comfortable seating area and full bar, the Tembo Fire makes a wonderful place for conversation, storytelling, or star-gazing.

Depart the Ngorongoro Highlands this morning and arrive on the great Serengeti plains by this afternoon. On the way, make a short stop at Olduvai Gorge, a deep ravine and site of fossilized remains of animals and hominids that date as far back as two million years. A brief lecture and small museum tour are included. Enjoy a boxed lunch as you continue to Serengeti National Park. As you arrive at the park, note the wooded knolls around Naabi Hill Gate that mark the Serengeti’s official entrance, which then drops into the park’s signature wide-open plains. This stretch embodies the meaning of the word “Serengeti,” which derives from the Maasai “Siringet” and has been artistically translated as “the land that flows on forever.” Here, you’ll spend the afternoon wildlife viewing.
The big cats often spend these hours lying drowsily about the plains and up in the trees while many antelope and other animals continue to graze. Conclude the day with a relaxing evening at your Camp

Optional, Those with advance reservations will have a pre-dawn wake-up call to spend the morning riding in a balloon across the plains. Take to the skies just as the sun rises, then glide over the plains and acacia treetops, taking in spectacular views of the Seronera River Valley and the surrounding plains. After your descent, enjoy a magnificent champagne breakfast right in the midst of the Serengeti wilderness. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of the Serengeti by touring the pristine landscapes with your guide leading the way. Expansive plains, rolling hills, dramatic granite outcrops, and riverine valleys are home to an endless variety of fascinating creatures, from the lowly dung beetle to the impressive elephant.

In the morning, return to Arusha and stop at the Cultural Heritage Center, a shopping mainstay with an abundance of wooden carvings, artifacts, apparel, and crafts. The center also has Tanzanite and other gemstones for sale. Additionally, the Center has wonderful cultural displays showing some of the finest African art in Tanzania.

The next morning after breakfast, Sianga will be available to take you around town showing you the local places or where you can buy souvenirs. Spend the day as you choose – you might like to take a trip to the African craft market, visit a traditional fruit and vegetable market or visit Future Warriors Project Inc (an NGO founded by Sianga) and hear about their Projects
